Job Description

Purpose & Objectives

Trusted Adviser for all Business Units in France providing consulting expertise on all aspects of Total Rewards including program design, implementation and communication. Drives, executes and independently manages all efforts and activities involved in the scoping, design, development, implementation, administration and continuous improvement of existing processes and new Total Reward business solutions.

A member of the EMEA Total Rewards team, a virtual member of the broader HR team in France, and a member of the extended global TR community, supporting complex business and geographic Total Reward requirements.

Expectations & Tasks

  • Understands the business dynamics and the part that Total Reward plays in managing the attraction and retention of key talents in support of business goals, and able to provide Total Reward thought leadership and best practice.
  • Assumes responsibility for the creation, delivery and adoption of sometimes complex and innovative Total Reward products and solutions in line with strategic objectives, financial budgets, legislative, regulatory and business requirements as requested by the Board, Senior HR Leadership and the business.
  • Drives and manages the year end cycle to ensure timely and accurate completion. Throughout the cycle ensures regular and timely communication is provided to local and global managers, and provides detailed briefings to HR/GLR, Unions and Works Councils as required.
  • Assesses best practices and creates specific Total Reward strategies and solutions based on business requirements and in close collaboration with representatives from the business and the HR Business Partner community ensuring that solutions are managed within available internal systems and processes.
  • Works in close collaboration with other TR & HR teams on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the end-to-end Total Rewards processes, practices and procedures within one or more topic areas.
  • Supports operational work to implement Total Reward programs and plans, manage projects across geography, and ensures plans and programs are legally compliant, market competitive and cost effective.
  • Designs and manages of all benefits programs and management of relationship with vendors
  • Conducts competitive market intelligence/analysis through regular benchmark survey participation and pulse surveys. Maintains an active network of compensation & benefits professional colleagues across the high tech industry.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor or Masters in Business Administration/HR or comparable field
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Able to learn and use in-house systems, eg IPP, PRM
  • World at Work accreditation an advantage.
  • At least 5 years experience in a professional Total Rewards role covering all aspects of fixed and variable pay
  • Some experience within a global/multinational company
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation & benefits regulations in France
  • Experience of working effectively in a complex matrix organization and managing multiple projects
  • Able to work flexibly including out-of-hours calls and some travel
  • Strong functional leadership skills and excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Able to establish good working relationships across all lines of business, different business needs
