Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Human Resource professional to join a dynamic, industry leading business based in our EMEA Headquarters. What you'll give to Brocade as a HR Business Partner:

You'll play an active role in providing partnering to senior leaders and managers in achieving company objectives as you identify,develop and implement business effectiveness initiatives and strategies that contribute to building and sustaining a high-performance business and team. You will work with managers on workforce planning and talent strategies and partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment with recruitment strategies.You will also coach managers on effective leadership strategies including tactical HR processes aswell as interventions involving leadership development and change management. In addition, you'll help maintain a high-performance culture by coaching leadership teams to improve their effectiveness. It is important that you advise managers and employees regarding complex performance issue alongside providing solid guidance on legal and regulatory trends in order to effectively counsel leaders and reduce potential business liabilities. It will be essential that you deliver our full spectrum of HR programs and services and work with business leaders on workforce planning and talent strategies.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide seniorlevel HR support for various businesses within Brocade. The successful candidate will apply operational and strategic level HR practices and programs toattract, retain and motivate key talent. The position requires a self-starterwith a hands-on, customer-service orientation and extensive HR internalconsulting experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide unique insight regardingpeople and organisational dynamics. Translate this insight into sustainable,customised business solutions.
  • Identify, develop and implementbusiness effectiveness initiatives and strategies that contribute to buildingand sustaining a high-performance business and team.
  • Coach managers on effective leadershipstrategies including tactical HR processes as well as interventions involvingleadership development and change management.
  • Participate in the development andimplementation of business plans and strategies.
  • Deliver a full spectrum of HR programs& services across multiple businesses.
  • Design, develop and implement HRstrategies and plans to meet business priorities.
  • Counsel and advise managers andemployees regarding complex performance issues.
  • Provide a solid knowledge base oflegal and regulatory trends in order to effectively counsel leaders and reducepotential business liabilities.
  • Proactively evaluate employeerelations’ issues, inquiries and turnover; analyse trends and recommendappropriate actions.
  • Ensure effective communicationstrategies are in place within the organisation utilising multiple vehicles andforums.
  • Consult with managers on workforceplanning and talent strategies. Partner with Talent Management to ensurealignment with recruitment strategies are in place.
  • Ensure fair and equitable compensationand appropriate levelling within organisations.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years minuimum of in-depth HR generalist experience as well as expertise in at least one of the HR disciplines.
  • Proven ability to contribute to the design and implementation of HR strategies, programs, and processes in support of the overall business strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence atmultiple levels within the organisation.
  • Solid knowledge of HR functional areasincluding Training & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation and Staffing.
  • Effective organisation and planningskills as well as solid analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • HR (people) management experience and background a desirable.
