Job Description

BMC are seeking a HR Business partner for Spain to also work across different European countries. You will provide leadership, consultation and advice in the following areas; employment relations/labor law, organizational effectiveness/development, diversity, staffing, performance management, compensation, recognition programs, management development/coaching, employee development, design/delivery of organization interventions

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Liaise with the workers council from a legal perspective
  • Deal with employment relations issues
  • Support corporate values, legal requirements and HR policies
  • Work with all levels of management and employees to ensure timely and effective resolution of HR and management issues
  • Drive the creation of a human resources infrastructure within the client group
  • Ensure corporate HR programs, procedures and policies are implemented
  • Assist with organizational & change management processes within the client group
  • Assist with developing and implementing strategic staffing plans
  • Assist with the HR challenges/programs associated with possible business partnerships and potential mergers or acquisitions
  • Work with the client management team to increase organization effectiveness
Candidate Requirements
  • You must have worked for an international company ideally within the software or telecoms industry & you will have exposure working in a HR role outside of Spain
  • Masters degree in HR related field preferred
  • Previous experience working in a HR Business Partner role is essential
  • Strong experience working with the Spanish workers council & employment relations
  • Experience and/or knowledge of other HR functional disciplines such as staffing, compensation/benefits, organization development, training and management and employee development
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated management capabilities and coaching skills
  • Ability to integrate HR and business strategies
  • Multilingual skills a plus
